Nanoemulsion involves the use of ultrasonic waves to shrink CBD molecules down to “nanoparticles” that are a fraction of their original size. Due to their small size, these nanoparticles take different pathways or “shortcuts” into the body that regular CBD molecules are too large to pass through. No, CBD is non-psychoactive. CBD is often confused with THC, the cannabinoid that produces the “high” associated with marijuana use. CBD, however, is not derived from marijuana — it is derived from hemp, which contains virtually no THC.
